Check out this The Polar Express website! There are tons of hidden gems here to explore, from a snowflake maker to screen savers and wallpapers. This would be a great way to get your students excited about either reading the book or watching the movie. All aboard The Polar Express!

Check out this interactive Olympics medal tally and scorecard from iDashboards. It is really quite fascinating! You can check the medal status by Country or event and see some pretty cool statistics in near real-time. Have a look!

100 Snowballs is a fun interactive from ABCya.com. Simply touch and drag the snowballs to create your own image, as long as you use 100 snowballs. If your class is reading 100 books, add a snowball as a way keep up with how many books the class has read.

Here is a really cool snowflake maker called Snowflake Workshop that works great on the SMART Board. Just click on the pencil and draw the cutting lines. Then click on the scissors and watch your snowflake generate. You can save your snowflake for it to be shown in the gallery or even send it to your friends. Check it out! It has some snazzy holiday background music as well.
