Here is one last resource I wanted to share with you before I start my weekend. I found a Halloween word problems SMART Notebook lesson created by Lindsay Angelo on TeqSmart.org. It’s fantastic for 1st and 2nd graders! You must log in to download the lesson, so be sure to create your free account first. Here is a preview:

Check out Ben & Jerry’s Pumpkin Patch! Touch the things in the pumpkin patch and watch them do, well, something! One pumpkin leads to even more ghoulish games. Then move to the left and visit the Flavor Graveyard, if you dare. So much fun!

Here is a Halloween word bucket gallery item for the SMART Board from TeqSmart.com. You can add up to 20 words and choose from 4 receptacles: witch, pumpkin, trick-or-treat, or door. Click here to download the item. Once you open up the downloaded file, it will take you to a blank Notebook page. Click on the Gallery tab, find it under My Content, and drag it to the Notebook page. Enjoy!

Here is another Halloween-related game for the SMART Board- Spooky Sequences by the Oswego City School District. There are additional math activities found at the site that focus on topics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, coordinates, fractions, and time.
