Revisiting the Interactive Resources at tes.iboard.co.uk

Back in December I blogged about the gold mine of interactive whiteboard resources found at tes.iboard.co.uk. At the time, the site offered their resources free for 6 months with a school account. I am happy to announce that now ALL the resources are free and no account creation is needed. Please have another look at this gem for whiteboard resources in all subjects. Thanks to Jonathan Wylie over at The Education Technology Blog for bringing this to my attention again!


Below is a really cool Insect Survey activity. From the site: Zoom in on different parts of the picture to count the insects. Use the three sets of data to prompt a range of comparison questions. Investigate which insects are in the scene – could be used as a preliminary activity before carrying out a survey in the school grounds and plotting the results.

Using a Coordinate Grid by HarcourtSchool.com

Here is another great activity from HarcourtSchool.com. Use this to teach your students about plotting points on a coordinate grid. Simply touch the point to find out if you are in the correct place. If you get the wrong answer, you will be given an explanation. Have fun!
