Under the Sea is a FABULOUS interactive resource for practicing a variety of math skills from counting money to place value to fractions. This site is very engaging and would work great on the SMART Board. Below is a screen shot of the Comparing and Ordering Numbers activity. Enjoy!

Sorry about my absence over the last week! I had a week long Renaissance Place training to attend, followed by the MCPSS SMART Symposium on Saturday (which was AWESOME, by the way). Here are some wonderful activities to help your students with reading maps. There are 3 activities in all: Coordinate Grids (pictures below), Interactive Grid Maps (the city of Saskatoon), and a World Map activity. Hope you find them useful!

Check out this Pluto Rap I found at MightyBook.com. It is absolutely HILARIOUS and very educational of course! Your students will get a kick out of this. It’s great for learning the order of planets, too!

MathNook.com has some great interactive activities that you should check out. Be aware of the ads on the sides and bottom of the site. You could always use the spotlight tool to only show the game and block out the ads or use the Flash Game Maximizer add-on for Firefox! Below is the Counting Money game.
