Thinking Blocks is a website that instructs students and models for them how to solve word problems using interactive manipulatives. There are addition, subtraction, multiplication and division word problems (found in the Try It section). There are also instructional videos that models how to solve the word problems (found in the Model It section). This site would be great to use whole group on the SMART Board! Enjoy!

Check out the Molecularium Kid Site for learning about atoms, molecules, solids, liquids, gases, and more! The Nanolab section contains 3 interactives that include Build, Zoom, and Transform activities. Your students will love the groovy music, too. Did I say groovy?

Check out this ADORABLE eBook from, you guessed it, MightyBook.com. Your students will love it watching Punxsutawney Phil as “the King”. I laughed the whole way through. While you’re at it, you may also want to check out this “I’m a Little Groundhog” song.
