Here is another great activity from HarcourtSchool.com. Use this to teach your students about plotting points on a coordinate grid. Simply touch the point to find out if you are in the correct place. If you get the wrong answer, you will be given an explanation. Have fun!

This is a nice little counting activity from HarcourtSchool.com for young students that can be used as a 100th Day activity. It is narrated as well! Click the carrot to start counting. You will be asked to type in the next letter. Use your regular keyboard, or use this as a way to teach the students about the SMART Board on-screen keyboard!

Next week we are going to begin a contest using StudyIsland.com in order to prep for the ARMT/SAT. In Study Island, students earn Blue Ribbons by mastering different content standards in Math, Reading, and Science. You can pull Blue Ribbon reports using the program to gather data; however, I have created a SMART Notebook file that will allow the students place the Blue Ribbons under the standards they have mastered. Students love any chance to touch the SMART Board! Please feel free to use them and change as needed. Enjoy!

Here is a great “Counter Square” from AmblesidePrimary.com. You can use a square, circle, or triangle in order to make patterns, highlight prime numbers, and label odd/even numbers, etc. Just click on the Ideas for more ways to use the chart.
