Here is a Halloween word bucket gallery item for the SMART Board from TeqSmart.com. You can add up to 20 words and choose from 4 receptacles: witch, pumpkin, trick-or-treat, or door. Click here to download the item. Once you open up the downloaded file, it will take you to a blank Notebook page. Click on the Gallery tab, find it under My Content, and drag it to the Notebook page. Little Fingers is a software company that produces educational software for children ages Pre-K through grade 5; however, they have some free online games that work well on the SMART Board. Here is a great patterns game that would be great for a Pre-K-1st grade classroom.

One of our third grade teachers, Beth Williams, introduced me to this wonderful site so I thought I’d pass it along to you. Fun4thebrain.com contains lots of games that work well on the SMART Board. The majority are math games, but there are some science, english, and “just for fun” games as well. Here is one of the division games, but there are many more on the website!
