I had a request from one of my readers to create a Twitter template in SMART Notebook similar to the Facebook Template I shared in February. I’ve finished it, so here it is! Your students can use this template to create a “fake” Twitter page for a famous person in history, an athlete, or a character in a book. I’ve included an example page on Hank Aaron, and there is also a worksheet in the Attachments tab for you to use. This template can also be used to show students the basics of a Twitter page without having to access the site directly. I hope you can find many ways to use this within your classroom! Don’t forget to check out my Twitter and Facebook Guides for Educators as well.

You’re welcome, Mr. Huebner!
Thanks for sharing! I plan to use this with my first graders after they complete their animal research. Each student will share facts about their animal in the form of posts. We have a class Twitter account so the kids are familiar with the look of a Twitter page and they will love it!
Thought I would share the completed animal Twitter pages – the kids loved these and I like that they did a report in a different way!
